"The way to get on with a cat is to treat it as an equal -- or even better, as the superior it knows itself to be."--Elizabeth Peters
They're funny little things, warm and loving one moment, independent and aloof the next. Capable of
extraordinary devotion, the cat is always conscious of her rightful place in our lives: the Boss.
If you were to ask your cat for permission to leave him or her alone for a few days, I'm sure you
would get a resounding "NO WAY!" For all their independence and aloofness, cats are social creatures.
We do not accept them in our lives, they accept us into theirs. Anyone owned by
a cat knows this to be true. Ideally, our cats want us to stay home with them. Always. In the real world,
this is not possible. And sometimes our trips take us away longer than a few hours. When that happens,
who takes care of our feline friends? If you have family or close friends, you can ask them but they're
not always free. Then what will you do?
That's where Cats' Meow Services comes to the rescue if you live in the Toms River, NJ area. I have a lifetime
of knowledge dealing with cats and can make your being away a little less worrisome for you and a more pleasant
for your cat. While you are away, I will visit your cat daily, feed her, change
her water, clean her, ahem, "commode",
and, of course, play with her. If medication (tablet, capsule, or liquid) is necessary, I can give it.
If you would like, I will brush and/or comb her and, if your pet allows, I can even trim claws. In the unlikely
event that a trip to the vet becomes necessary, I will take her. Although it is better for the cat to
remain in its own home, I can board your cat if necessary.
My prices are reasonable: $15 per day, per visit for a single cat household in the Toms River, NJ area. I charge $5 for each
additional cat in multi-cat households. For more information, please send an
e-mail to the address below.
